Richard F. Pitt

Richard F. Pitt, 86, of Barnegat passed February 8, 2019. Born in Newark, where he worked for the EGL Co. as a supervisor for over 45 years. He formerly resided in Maplewood, NJ, before retiring to Barnegat nearly 25 years ago.

Predeceased by his beloved wife of 60 years, Vera Pitt; a brother, Frank Pitt and a nephew, Richard Pitt, he is survived by two loving daughters and their spouses, Doreen and Raymond Galarza, Diane and Scott Donnigan; six cherished grandchildren, Christopher, Michael, Nicholas, Corey, Chelsea and David; his nephew, Steven Pitt.

Viewing Wednesday, February 13, 2019 from 4 to 8 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 W. Bay Ave., Barnegat. Funeral Service Thursday 11 AM at funeral home. Cremation private. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital appreciated. (www.BarnegatFH.com)
