Paul C. Mullen

Paul C. Mullen of Manahawkin, N.J., age 95, passed away peacefully, with his loving family by his side on Monday July 16, 2018. 

Born in Orange, N.J., he valiantly served his country for more than eight years in the U.S. Navy during World War II and the Korean War.  He was employed by the Otis Elevator Company for over 35 years as an Expeditor.  Upon retirement he moved to Manahawkin to enjoy the beauty and serenity of LBI, where he and his family had vacationed for many years.  He was an avid Yankees’ fan.     

Paul is survived by his wife of 52 years, Joan (nee Hennessey); children Paul C. Mullen Jr., Elizabeth M.  Smith, Peter D. Mullen and wife Eloisa, Patrick D. Mullen and wife Cindy; grandchildren Erin Mullen, Anthony Smith, Patrick Mullen, Gabrial Smith, David Mullen; sister Regina and husband George Meikle. 

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty; brother, Bobby and sister, Marjorie.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 12:00 PM, Friday July 20, 2018, St. Mary’s Church, Barnegat, N.J. Barnegat Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. (www.BarnegatFH.com)
