Moira A. Hamilton, 59, of Manahawkin passed Tuesday, December 5, 2017. Born in Levittown, PA to her late parents, John and Constance McGinniss, she was a graduate of Neshaminy High School in Langhorne, PA. Moira resided in Manahawkin, NJ for the past 36 years and was devoted to working with special needs children for the Stafford Twsp. Board of Education. She always had a zest for life and some of her greatest joys were gardening, Christmas, trips to Cape May, NJ but most of all was time spent with her family. Moira was a part of the LLL's Club with her beloved friends.

Surviving are her beloved husband of 38 years, Paul Hamilton; her two loving children, Kristen Hamilton (Keith Mitrosky), Michael Hamilton; two cherished step-grandchildren, Ava and Brandon; her brother, Kevin McGinniss (Jane); her two sisters, Colleen Finnerty (Joe), Tara McGinniss; eight nieces and nephews; fourteen great nieces and nephews.

Viewing Friday, December 8 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM and Saturday 10 AM to 12 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 W. Bay Ave., Barnegat. Mass to follow Saturday 12:30 PM at St. Mary's Church, Barnegat. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Manahawkin. In lieu of flowers, donations to ARC of Ocean County appreciated.
