Mary Clare Gangloff

Mary Clare Gangloff, 85, of Barnegat passed on Tuesday, January 22, 2019. Born in Simpson, PA to her late parents, John and Mary Gangloff, she formerly resided in East Orange, NJ and work as a nurse at Columbus Hospital in Newark for many years. Mary's concern for the well being of others did not stop at her chosen profession. Her activities also included being active in the American Legion  Ladies Auxiliary, The Moose Lodge Auxiliary, a volunteer at St. Mary's Church food pantry, and a volunteer at the Southern Ocean Medical Center's thrift store in Manahawkin known as the Old and New Shop.

She is survived by her loving cousins, Patricia Howard, Mary Ann and husband Chris Young, Diane Howard. She was predeceased by a cousin, Michael Howard.

A Memorial Mass will be Celebrated in her honor on Monday, February 4, 2019 at 11 AM at St. Mary's Church, 747 West Bay Ave., Barnegat, NJ. Entombment of her cremains will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Manahawkin, NJ. Barnegat Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
