Mario J. Aversa, Jr.

Mario J. Aversa, Jr. 46, of the Beach Haven West section of Manahawkin, NJ passed on Thursday, November 7, 2019. He was born in New York City to his late parents, Mario and Phyllis Aversa. Mario enjoyed working in the food industry and earned his Degree from the Academy of Culinary Arts at the Atlantic Cape Community College. He went on to fulfill his dream and opened Mario's Italian Market in Surf City, NJ on Long Beach Island.

He is survived by his two beloved daughters, Annalise and Elena Aversa and their mother, Dawn Aversa; his loving aunts and uncles, Geri and Nick Gelens, Theresa and Edward Aversa as well as many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Monday, November 11, 2019 from 4 to 7 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 West Bay Ave., Barnegat, NJ (www.BarnegatFH.com)

In lieu of flowers, donations made to the fund which is being established to help with the care and education of his daughters would be greatly appreciated. Information will be posted as soon as it becomes available.
