Marilyn E. Cortez, 78, of Barnegat passed peacefully on Friday, May 5, 2017. Born and raised in New York City, she moved to Jackson, NJ with her husband, to raise their two children. 

Marily was predeceased by her son, Norbert Cortez, Jr. Surviving are her beloved husband of 59 years, Norbert Cortez; her loving daughter, Natalie Cortez; two cherished grandchildren, Celine M. Montana and her fiancee Scott Conklin, and Dylan DiPietrantonio; one beloved grandchild, Carter G. Conklin; her devoted sister, Janice Papadopoulos.
