Luis A. Melendez, 90, of Barnegat passed on Saturday, July 22, 2017. Born in Santurce, Puerto Rico, he is survived by his beloved wife, Brunilda (De Jesus) Melendez; three loving children, Ana B. Pelinsky, Jeanette Melendez, Frances Pastrana and husband Juan; four cherished grandchildren, Sasha Tempesta, Erika Pelinsky, Bryan and Amanda Pastrana; two sisters, Celia Vidal, Adria Figueroa; a brother, Pablo Melendez.

Viewing Tuesday, July 25th from 4 to 8 PM with a Blessing Service to be offered 7 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 W. Bay Ave., Barnegat. Private cremation to follow.
