John Smith Obituary
John E. Smith, 65, of Barnegat passed on Tuesday, October 16, 2018. Born in Jersey City to his late parents, John and Frances Smith, he worked as a corrections officer for Essex County. John also served in the Merchant Marines in the early 70's.
Predeceased by a brother, Warren Smith, and his life partner, Cheryl Krom, he is survived by two children, John W. Smith, Rebecca Sneath and her husband Kenneth; five grandchildren, Brandon, Ryan, Johnny, Julianna and Jessica; his sister, Andrea Smith; his dog, Oscar.
