John R. Rura, 92, of Waretown, formerly of Trenton, NJ passed Sunday, June 18, 2017. He was a US Army Veteran of WWII and a graduate of Georgetown University in Washington, DC in 1953 with a degree in foreign service. John retired from the US Postal Service in 1983 as a supervisor of direct mailing.

Son of the late Frank and Magdalena Rura, he is also predeceased by four brothers, Stanley, Joseph, Michael and Anthony; and three sisters, Mary Companick, Frances Rura and Helen Malek. He is survived by his caregiver, Dolores Benningfield and many nieces and nephews.
