Janice Lenz

Janice Lenz, 61, of Waretown passed on Sunday, June 2, 2019. Born in Staten Island, NY she is a long time resident of Waretown where she was a former volunteer member of the First Aid Squad. Janice had been employed at the Community Medical Center in Toms River for over 20 years and especially enjoyed working in the Labor and Delivery Department of the hospital. Always looking for a way to serve others, she was a woman of strong faith who taught Catechism to 1st graders and volunteered as an Extraordinary Ministery at St. Mary's Parish in Barnegat and Manahawkin.

Surviving are her two loving children and their spouses, Stacy M. and Edward Tamburo, Brian E. and Hannah Lenz; her beloved mother, Marie Edgin; her brother and two sisters, Steven and wife Michele Edgin, Marsha and husband Arthur Koerner, Priscilla Edgin; sister-in-law, Linda Lenz; her faithful dog, Wally.

Viewing Thursday, June 6, 2019 from 6 to 8 PM and Friday from 9 to 11 AM. Mass will be offered Friday 11:30 AM at St. Mary's Church, Barnegat. Private cremation to follow.
