James Miele

James Miele of Manahawkin passed on Monday, March 25, 2019. Born in Cavendish, Vermont to his late parents, Louis and Laura Miele, he is a United States Army Veteran. James was a member of the 40th Army Band and the American Legion Post 36, in Ludlow, VT. He formally resided in Lyndhurst, NJ for many years before moving to Manahawkin. Surviving are his beloved wife of forty-nine years, Pamela Miele, two loving children, Jennifer and her husband Carmine Remo, Deana and her husband Robert Kozlowski; three cherished grandchildren, Nicholas and Natalie Remo, and Robbie Kozlowski. Viewing Thursday, March 28, 2019 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 W. Bay Ave., Barnegat, NJ. Interment will be held in Pleasant View Cemetery, Ludlow, Vermont.
