Glen T. Bleakley, 66, of Barnegat was taken from us on December 7, 2018. Born in Trenton, to his late parents, Kenneth and Margaret Bleakley, he was raised in Ewing, NJ. He resided in Barnegat for 45 years. Always a proud patriot, he served in the Air National Guard and was a member of the American Legion Post 232. His crew at Greyhound were like a second family. When not working he enjoyed boating, fishing, music and most of all spending time with his family. Glen had a passion for cars, was an accomplished mechanic and Mopar enthusiast.
Surviving are his beloved wife Betty Ann Bleakley; two loving children, Susan and Andrew Schovanec, Glen and Becky Bleakley; cherished grandson Westley; devoted siblings, Roy Bleakley, Ken & Ginny Bleakley; Joann & Bob Brooks, Laura & Pete Eshewsky, Georgeanna Tilghman, Joyce Czarneki, Linda & Dan Walsh; loving in laws Betty & Joe Giambrone; sister and brother in laws, Jim Giambrone, Diane & Tom Avanzato, Joe & Mary Giambrone; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Marjorie Mauer and sister in law Karen Giambrone. He was blessed with extraordinary friends and neighbors who he thought of as family.
