Gary R. Akerley

Gary “Eggs” Akerley, 66, of Barnegat, NJ passed on Sunday, December 1, 2019 at Southern Ocean Medical Center of Manahawkin. Born in Staten Island, NY, to his late parents, Melvin and Dorothy (Kepley) Akerley, where he worked as a baker at Andrew and Alan's Bakery for many years. He is survived by his loving daughter, Danielle and her husband, Robert; two cherished grandchildren, Brody and Chase; his step-daughter, Kelly, and her husband, Michael Magliulo; two sisters, Bonny DiBernardo and Kathy Henderson; two brothers, Mark Akerley and Mel Akerley, and many loving nieces and nephews. He is pre-deceased by his long-term girlfriend, Jeannie Harrer.
