Frank A. Benenati, 87, of Barnegat passed at home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, April 29, 2017. Born in New York City, he is a US Marine Corps Veteran of the Korean War, and one of the "Chosen Few" who fought at the Battle of The Chosen Resevoir. Frank retired from the Department of Corrections for the City of New York. A long time resident of Manahawkin, NJ he recently moved to Barnegat last year.

Surviving are his beloved wife of 62 years, Doris E. Benenati; his beloved daughter, Cynthia Benenati and her husband Thomas Green; his brother Thomas Benenati.
