Florence F. Carlo, 72, of Toms River, NJ, passed away on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at her daughter’s home in Barnegat after a short battle with lung cancer.
Born in Jersey City, NJ, to her late parents Helen Puza and John Carlo, she was a model for Modern Juniors fashion line starting at age 16. She worked as a server at Supreme Macaroni Company in Manhattan throughout the 1980’s and as a result, met many high profile celebrities. She also worked at Charlie Brown’s in Lakewood for nearly two decades and was loved by many of her regular customers who became lifelong friends. She loved cooking, dogs, old movies, music, gameshows, and most of all her family.
She was predeceased by the love of her life Andrew Tricarico in 2016. She is survived by her two daughters Andrea French and Dina Burek and their husbands Michael and Robert, her 6 grandchildren Joey, Mikey, Matthew, Ryan, Anthony, and Victoria, and her two great grandchildren Penelope and Fiona.
