Edita Chart, 90 of Manahawkin passed peacefully on Tuesday, April 18, 2017. Born in Alytus, Lithuania, she earned her nursing credentials in Europe and emigrated to the United States in 1950. 

Predeceased by her beloved husband, Ben Chart, she is survived by her three loving children, Aras Mardosa of CA, Edith Buckholtz and husband John of SC, John Mardosa and wife Joanna of Sussex, NJ; five grandchildren, Karen, Michael, Rachel, Alexis and Trisha; six great grandchildren, Riley, Addison, Emilia, Henry, Lief and Adeline; her niece, Cynthia Siwulec; niece, Mary Wronko; grand niece, Alexandra; her nephew, Bob Siwulec and wife Barbara.

Viewing Friday, April 21 from 9 to 10:30 AM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 W. Bay Ave., Barnegat. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at St. Mary's Church, Barnegat. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery, Manahawkin.
