Domenico Saraniero

Domenico Saraniero, 89, of Barnegat passed on Wednesday, October 10, 2018. Born in Maranola, Italy he served with the Italian Military Police as a Carabinieri before emigrating to the US in 1957. He formerly resided in Woodbridge, NJ.

Predeceased by his parents, Giovanni and Filomena Saraniero; two sisters, Maria Paradiso and Concetta Casu; a brother, Antonio Saraniero, he is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Emilia Saraniero; two loving children and their spouses, Phylis and John DeFuria, John and Theresa Saraniero; four cherished grandchildren, Melissa, Cristina, Angela and Anthony; five great grandchildren, Ryan, Logan, Luciana, Francesca and Luke; his sister, Lucia Anzellotti; two brothers, Luigi and Giuseppe Saraniero.

Viewing Sunday, October 14th from 1 to 4 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 W. Bay Ave., Barnegat. Mass offered Monday 11 AM at St. Mary of The Pines Church, Manahawkin. Entombment to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
