Carl J. Scarna

Carl J. Scarna, 71, of Barnegat passed away Sunday, June 30, 2019 at his home.  Born in New York, NY (Manhattan as he always emphasized) to his late parents, Joseph and Rita Scarna, he formerly resided in Morganville and Lakewood, NJ before moving to Barnegat, NJ.  Carl retired from the United Parcel Service.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 37 years, Lorraine (Marinaro) Scarna; his three loving children, Carl Scarna, Jr., Vanessa Scarna and Stefano Scarna; his brother, Robert Scarna; his brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Maida Marinaro as well as many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

Viewing is on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 West Bay Ave., Barnegat, NJ. Private cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Diabetes Foundation are appreciated.
