Brian Dillon Rooney

Brian Dillon Rooney, 34, of Barnegat passed on Monday, November 4, 2019 at home surrounded by his loving family. Brian graduated from Southern Regional High School in Manahawkin, NJ where he played the quarterback position on the Rams varsity football team. He went on to earn his Bachelors Degree from Stockton College. A sports enthusiast his whole life, he was a loyal fan of all the Philadelphia sports Teams especially the Philadelphia Eagles Football Team.

Surviving are his beloved parents, James and Susan Rooney; his loving sister, Jess and her husband George Williams; his loving brother, Lee Rooney; his devoted grandmother, Marie Goodman; two cherished nephews, Liam and Wyatt Williams as well as many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday, November 8, 2019 from 4 to 8 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 West Bay Ave., Barnegat, NJ.  A Memorial Mass will be offered Saturday 10 AM at St. Mary’s Church, 747 West Bay Ave., Barnegat.
