Anne F. Volker, 95, of Barnegat has gone to meet her Lord on February 14, 2019. She was one of five children born in Roselle Park, NJ to her late parents Pasquale and Margaret Santoro. Anne worked as a supervisor at General Instruments in Elizabeth during WWII, which was responsible for manufacturing gauges used on American B52 Bombers. She formerly resided in Brick, NJ and worked as a waitress for Petersons Restaurant in Pt. Pleasant for over 20 years. Afterwards, she worked as a home health aide for Visiting Homemakers in Brick.
Anne started everyday listening to the morning Mass and enjoyed reading and watching the NY Yankees. She also had a keen eye for antiques and enjoyed thrift shopping and outings to the flea market.
Predeceased by a son, Bill Volker, she is survived by her son, Cliff and wife Dori Volker; daughter-in-law, Donna Volker; eight grandchildren, William, Lisa, Clifford, Robbie, Dean, Leah and husband Steven, Sox and Matthew and spouses; seventeen great grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews.
Viewing Tuesday, February 19, 2019 from 6 to 8 PM with a Blessing Service to follow 8 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 W. Bay Ave., Barnegat. Private cremation to follow. (www.BarnegatFH.com)
