William B. McArdle, 83, of Barnegat passed October 14, 2016 peacefully at home with his loving family at his side. Bill was born and raised in Jersey City. He retired from Dow Jones after 43 years of service.

Predeceased by his son, Michael and two grandchildren, Courtney and Sean, and his loving parents, Helen and Eugene McArdle. He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary of 65 years. Devoted father to Thomas (Jacquelyn), Anne Gassmann (Edward), Michael, Linda Mills and Kathleen McArdle. Cherished grandfather (Papa) to Jim, Jennie, Erin, Katie, Michael, Kristin, Becky, Courtney, Nicole, Sean, Kaitlyn and Riley. Cherished great grandfather to 21 great grandchildren and proud great great grandfather of two. Bill was one of seven loving siblings, Helen Campbell (Deceased), Eugene, Ruthann, Dan, Denise Mulcahy and Ken McArdle.

Viewing Wed., Oct. 19 from 4 to 8 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 W. Bay Ave., Barnegat. Mass offered Thursday 11 AM at St. Mary’s Church, Barnegat. Interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Manahawkin.
