Thelma Tremblay Watson, 97 of Manahawkin passed April 17, 2017. Born December 12, 1919 she is mother of, Joanne Grasso & husband Anthony, The late Janet McInnes Tibbrine; grandmother of, Michael and Mark Grasso & wife, Brooke, Mario and Minda Tibbrine: great grandmother of, Katherine and Emily Grasso, Austin Tibbrine, Cooper Grasso.

Along life’s way this North Philly girl had many jobs but was a hair dresser by trade.  She was hardworking and detail oriented.  After retiring from Prudential Ins. Co. she enjoyed working for Tag Sale Specialists in Linwood helping where needed but serving the gals “tomato soup” was her specialty.

Spending most of her life in Ocean City and McKee City she moved to Manahawkin in 2004.   Dementia prevailed and she entered Seacrest Nursing facility in 2012 into the caring arms of her nurses and aids.

Her life was one of quiet assurance – her faith in Jesus was at the core touching her family and many friends.  We all thank God for her!

She now joins her husband Lawrence, her mother (who died the same day 70 years ago) her dad and brother.

The burial will be private under the direction of Barnegat Funeral Home, with blessings being said by Manahawkin Baptist Church where Thelma attended.
