Rosina M. (Schiavo) Massa 89, of Barnegat passed April 6, 2017 at home. A graduate of East Orange High School and Berkeley Business School, “Rose” had been employed in the Howard Savings Bank Trust Dept., Newark. Formerly of Maplewood, NJ where she worked for the Maplewood/S. Orange School System and was a member of the Election Committee. After moving to Barnegat 28 years ago, she worked with the Barnegat Volunteer Fire Department.

Predeceased by her husband Frank J. and daughter, Rosemary Massa, she is survived by four children, Donald (Agnes), Frank W. (Darawan) and Stephen Massa, Joanne Nawrocki; eleven grandchildren, Dan, Michael, Donnell, David (Katherine), Tad, Colette (Mike), Kristin (Paul), Francesca, William, Frank J., Kritsana; one great grandchild, Jackson.

Viewing private. Mass offered Monday, April 17th 10 AM at St. Mary’s Church, Barnegat. Interment to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. Barnegat Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. (www.BarnegatFH.com)
