Romeo J. Mermini, 73, of Barnegat passed at home on Thursday, November 10, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Newark, NJ to his late parents, Etalo and Angelina Mermini, he was a member of the Plumbers Union Local 24. Romeo enjoyed the sport of horse racing and being a thoroughbred owner.

Romeo is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Patricia Mermini; his two loving daughters, Angela Mermini and husband Richard Philhower, Danese Jardine and husband Bob; four cherished grandchildren, Nicholas, Dominic, Samantha and Anthony; two devoted sisters, Maria Binetti and Joanne Marshall; his devoted brother, Anthony Mermini.

A Memorial Service will be celebrated in honor of Romeo's life on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 12 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church, 850 Railroad Ave., Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087.
