Robert S. Jackson, 73, of Barnegat passed Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at home. Formerly of Montvale and Teaneck, where he was a social studies teacher, as well as a football and baseball coach, he is a graduate of Seton Hall and earned his Master's  degree from Montclair University. An accomplished woodworker, he was a member of the Shop Club at Mirage.

Predeceased by a grandson, Ryan Jackson, he is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Alice M. (Ryan); a daughter, Dr. Sue Ellen Jackson Kline and husband Tom; 3 sons, Robert Jackson, Scott and wife Allison Jackson, Brian Jackson; 2 grandchildren, Connor and Madison.

Memorial Gathering Saturday from 1- 3 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 W. Bay Ave., Barnegat. In lieu of flowers, donations for the grandchildren may be sent to 17 Bridgewaters Passage, Barnegat, NJ 08005.
