Robert J. Corbliss, 92, of Barnegat passed August 12, 2017 at home. Born in Jersey City, NJ he was a US Navy Veteran of WWII.  A graduate of St. Michael's High School in Union City, he earned his Bachelors Degree from New York University and was employed by the New York Telephone Co. for many years. Formerly of Hazlet, where he served as Past President of the School Board, Robert also served as President for the US Power Squadron and enjoyed fishing and hunting. Robert had been a communicant and Lector at St. Ben's in Holmdel, St. Theresa's in Summit and St. Mary's in Barnegat.

Surviving are his beloved wife of 68 years, Geraldine Corbliss; four loving daughters and their spouses, Kathleen and Edward Healy, Diane McEvilly, Mary Pat and Wayne Levitt, Eileen and Roland Eckstein; twelve grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; his two sisters, Evelyn and Joan; his brother, Edward; his two brothers-in-law, Skip Reilly his hunting buddy and Jimmy Burns his best pal.
