Richard Walter Mollenkopf (Wally) passed away August 12, 2017 from a short illness and surrounded by his family in Manahawkin. Wally was a 1981 graduate of Southern Regional High School and was a lifelong resident of Barnegat until relocating to West Virginia 10 years ago and working for the West Virginia Department of Transportation. Wally loved the outdoors and was an avid motocross and enduro rider for many years. Wally was born October 24, 1962 in Toms River, NJ and the son of Richard C. Mollenkopf and Carol A. Mollenkopf.

He was a member of the East Coast Enduro Association and a life member of the American Motorcyclist Association.

He leaves behind his wife Patty, a daughter Shelby and two sons Cale and Wyatt along with two step children Cate White and Billy White.  He also leaves behind a sister and brother in law Dawn and Ron Rosser of Manahawkin along with 1 Niece Ashley Koch (Sam), and 2 Nephews, Franky Keller and Jordan Rosser.

Wally was preceded in death by his mother, Carol A. Mollenkopf and paternal and maternal grandparents.
