Paul D. Nichols, 78, of Barnegat passed Thursday, January 12, 2017. Born in Nashua, New Hampshire, he served in the US National Guard from 1955 to 1959. He was a Life Member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of The Elks, as well as a member of the Free and Accepted Masons. 

Surviving are his beloved wife of 56 years, Jacqueline Nichols; three loving daughters and their spouses, Sandra Nichols and Jeff Quinn, Sharon and Bernie Hertz, Susan and Tom O'Brien; four cherished grandchildren, Tommy, Allison, August and Anastasia; two devoted brothers, Richard and Peter Nichols.
