Michael J. Powers, 57, of Barnegat passed peacefully at home on Sunday, January 8. 2017. Born in Camden, NJ to his late parents, Daniel and Elizabeth Powers, Michael formerly resided in Mapleshade, NJ. A self-employed painter by trade, Michael enjoyed being a skilled guitarist, but his greatest love was for his family especially his two granddaughters.

Michael is survived by his significant other, Janet DiLeo; his loving daughter, Meaghan J. Bennett; his two cherished granddaughters, Sophia and Hailey; his two sisters, Beth Davidson and Mary Anne Victa, and many loving nieces and nephews.
