.Michael  A. Laiso, 75 , born on February 19, 1942,  of Barnegat passed August 8,2017; formerly of Branchburg and Neshanic Station, NJ.  Michael had earned an Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering from Newark College of Engineering in 1962 and worked at Hewlitt Packard as a technician. In 1968 he decided that computers were the future and he enrolled in a computer programming course at AT&T in Piscataway, NJ where he excelled. Realizing the importance of a four year degree he majored in  the interdisciplinary degree of Math, Computer Science and Statistics and received his BS in 1976 when he received the American Statistics Award  from  Rutgers College. He then earned his Masters Degree in Operations Research from Rutgers University College. At  AT&T Michael served as the President of the Contract Bridge Club where he conducted duplicate bridge tournaments for the employees who then earned master's  points. During his 25 years there he worked in Information Technology advancing to District Manager of Marketing Information Systems. Surviving are his beloved wife of 48 years, Marion (nee Palmera  ); two loving sons, Thomas M.Laiso and his wife Samantha (nee Maietta), Daniel M. Laiso; his cherished granddaughter , Harper Grace Laiso ; and  his loving mother, Carmella Laiso of Montville, NJ
