Mary (Tripolitis) Doyle, 91, of Barnegat passed away on November 6 at the Southern Ocean Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.

Mary graduated in 1942 from Girls High School, Brooklyn, NY and then moved to the Hazlet, NJ area where she resided for over 30 years. While raising a family in Hazlet, Mary worked for the Midland Glass and Lily Tulip companies. She then moved to Barnegat in 1972 where she had worked as a bookkeeper at Southern Ocean County Hospital and the Ocean County Game Farm. Mary became a licensed home-health aide and assisted the elderly in their homes for many years until she could no longer do so.

Mary had always been a very independent woman and had a zest for life. Her passion was selling jewelry and other fine collectibles at area flea markets until the age of 90. She loved searching for that perfect bargain and loved decorating her home. Most important to her was the love for her entire family.

Mary was the beloved wife of the late Arby Alvin Doyle, and was predeceased by her sister, Dorothy Petruski. She is survived by her children Jim Doyle (Yvonne) of Southampton, UK, Kathleen Doyle of Aberdeen, NJ, Karen Young of Whiting, NJ and Richard Doyle (Nancy) of Manahawkin, NJ. Mary will be sadly missed by her six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.

The family would like to give their heartfelt thanks to the staff of the Southern Ocean Medical Center for the loving care they provided to Mary.
