Heaven gained an angel on January 18, 2017 when Jim entered into the arms of Jesus…James P. Schooley, adored father, grandfather, brother, companion, family wit & friend to all, 71, of Barnegat passed at home on January 18, 2017. Born in Perth Amboy, NJ he was a US Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War, serving proudly with the SeaBees. He was a member of Local 27 Sheet Metal Workers Union, working out of Farmingdale, NJ.  Jim was a past member of the Shark River Hills First Aid Squad. He was a big man with a heart to match. Surviving are his two beloved daughters, Michelle Schultz and husband Kenny Stuckey, Nicole Schooley-Fox and husband Andrew Fox; Four cherished grandchildren, Samantha and Gunner Schultz, Angela and Kaitlyn Fox; his brother, Raymond Barry Schooley; his sister, Beverly Farkas; many loving nieces and nephews; his loving companion and partner in life of 35 years Ginger DeMatthews; and “great grandchildren”, Cole and Eva Quigley.
