James P. Martin, 95, of Manahawkin, NJ passed at home on January 10, 2017. A US Army Veteran of WWII and recipient of the Bronze Star, he formerly resided in Uniondale Long Island, NY. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Katherine and six siblings, John, Louis and Arthur Martin, Veronica Ludwig, Helen Walker and Mildred Naumann.

Surviving are his loving daughter, Kathleen Martin of Manahawkin; his sister, Marcella Hilliard of Panama City, FL; 14 nieces and 7 nephews.

Viewing Friday, Jan. 13 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 W. Bay Ave. Barnegat. Mass offered Saturday 10 AM at St. Mary’s Church, Barnegat. Interment in St. Mary’s Cem., Manahawkin. In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital appreciated.
