Harold E. Kestenholz, 76, of Barnegat passed November 23, 2016. Formerly of Paterson, NJ he was a devoted member of The Boy Scouts of America, earning the coveted Eagle Scout Award and being inducted into the Order of The Arrow for exemplary behavior. He continued his involvement as a Scout Master.   A US Air Force Veteran, Harold earned a Master’s Degree in Education from Montclair State University and enjoyed teaching and lecturing. He resided in Barnegat over 40 years where he was owner of Ares, Inc. an HVAC company. Harold also studied martial arts, attaining a black belt in karate.

Surviving are his beloved wife of 52 years, Diane; his loving son, Hal and wife Theresa Kestenholz; his devoted brother, Clifford and Irene Bernunzio.

Viewing Saturday, Nov. 26 from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 W. Bay Ave., Barnegat. Cremation private.
