Georgiana “Ginger” Szeles, 51, died on October 22, 2017 with her family by her side in Barnegat, NJ. Ginger was born January 13, 1966 in New Brunswick, NJ to Margaret and Vincent Szeles. Her parents fled their native Hungary in 1956, ultimately settling in Somerset, NJ to raise their family. Ginger was a homemaker and mother, active in her son’s schools and their seaside community. She loved animals and dogs, cooking, music, gardening, the beach and attending her son’s sporting events.

Ginger is survived by Troy Doss, their son Wesley Szeles, siblings Gyula, Margit, Steve, Sue and George, their spouses Ica, CJ, Mike and Trina, nieces Ildiko, Anita, Beáta, Maggi, and nephews Attila, Ian and Steven.  

The family wishes to thank the Liver Transplant programs at University Hospital in Newark and Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center in Camden for their care and support. A private memorial service is planned for the family. Memorial gifts may be sent to the United Network for Organ Sharing.
