Eugene R. Bisignano, 78, of Barnegat, NJ passed September 6, 2016 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Brooklyn, NY to his late parents, Albert and Sophie Bisignano, where he served on the FDNY with Ladder Co. 148. He went on to work himself up to Assistant Vice President of Facilities at the Kidder Peabody brokerage firm. He also enjoyed coaching the Great Kills Little League All Star Baseball Team on Staten Island. After relocating to Barnegat, NJ he became the first  member of The Board of Trustees at Heritage Point. Always one to be a positive influence, he also served on the Barnegat Economic Development Committee and the Barnegat Planning Board. A devoted communicant of St. Mary's Church, Eugene was a 4th Degree member of The Knights of Columbus, Annuciation Council, Beach Haven, NJ.

Predeceased by a son, Gregory Bisignano; a brother, Dominick Bisignano; and a step-son, Jeffrey Morris, he is survived by his wife, Joanne Bisignano; his son, Christopher and wife Valerie Bisignano; his step-son, Michael Morris; two step-daughters, Danielle and husband Richard Weldon, Sheri  and husband Chuck Wilson; eight grandchildren, Tyler, Shelby, Derek, Jason, Brittany, Bobby, Christopher and Zachary; his brother, Ralph Bisignano.

Viewing Friday, Sept. 9 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 W. Bay Ave., Barnegat. Mass offered Saturday 9:30 AM at St. Mary’s Church, Barnegat. Entombment in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Manahawkin.
