Clare Somers, 85, of Barnegat passed peacefully on Saturday, September 10, 2016. Born in Roscommon, Ireland she traveled extensively and emigrated to England, Canada and throughout the United States, before settling in Barnegat, NJ 15 years ago. She is survived by her beloved husband, Joseph Somers; three loving children, Cathy Furiano, Patrick and wife Cheryl Somers, Colleen and husband Kevin Halverson; five cherished grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Viewing Tuesday, September 13, from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday 10:30 AM at St. Mary's Church, Barnegat. Private cremation to follow.
