August J. Turano

August J. Turano, 92, of Barnegat passed to eternal rest on April 6, 2018. He was tragically preceded in death by his beautiful daughter, Claire. He is predeceased by his father, Joseph Turano and mother, Mariangela Barbera Turano; brothers, Nicholas, Louis, Samuel, Ralph, Dominik and his only sister, Beami Turano Fluke. He is survived by his brother, Armand Turano and his companion of many years, Elsie Potter and her daughters, Dawn Roberts, Tuesday Farenga, Robin Sherlock and their children and grandchildren. He is loved by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Viewing Sunday, April 8th from 2 to 6 PM at Barnegat Funeral Home, 841 W. Bay Ave., Barnegat. Blessing Service Monday 9:30 AM at funeral home. Interment to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations to Holy Redeemer Hospice appreciated.
